  1. Amora has took 68.75 dollars from me when I didn’t even order anything I would like to have my money back

  2. I have experienced circumstances nearly identical to most testimonials. I bought 1/2 lb of robusto beans for the one time offer of the price of shipping, so It sounded like a great deal. (. I found this Amora coffee offer at the swagbucks survey site, not that I hold them in any way responsible) So I ordered the 1/2 lb of beans on September 24, was charged $2.99 , and received my half pound about a week later…and I figured it was a finished transaction. I certainly didn’t expect $68.75 to disappear from my PayPal balance in the small hours of the night on 10-9. I was irked, but figured when push came to shove, they had questionable marketing practices, but I should have read the fine print. I resigned myself to eating the loss, and promptly left 2 emails cancelling my order…I heard nothing and received nothing until Oct 24, when by chance I checked my PayPal balance and saw another$ 68.75 pending authorization ( luckily my balance wasn’t enough to cover it) so evidently they were prying into one of my cards kept on file with PayPal . They even took the $ 1.11 pilot chargev already which I’ve since learned is how they feel out you account and justify acessing it “to see if there’s funds to cover their charges. I quickly cancelled any access to any payment option I have with PayPal, and looking more at the attempted charge, their email came up and I quickly sent another cancellation letter, and another later that day ….4 emails in all and not a peep from them for well over a month. What’s more, I’m 68.75 in the hole, and never received more product of any kind….where I was content to assume the mea culpa stance, the second attempted charge illustrated how wrong their ambush sales antics really are …it’s borderline criminal…It’s predatory, they get their foot in the door by offering a can’t missdeal , that largely appeals to impulse…plus wh house would think you’d be paying out the nose for coffee even in a worst case scenario you wouldn’t think they’d charge even a fraction of what they do. I’m Nearly 70$ dollars in the hole having had no choice but to acquiesce and narrowly averted being 140 $ down. My account is closed to them, and for the time being I’ve removed my balance from PayPal entirely. These people don’t deal in dribs and drabs…I contacted customer support once more to verify that I was no longer a customer and I wanted my 68.75 returned, as I’d never received a product answering to the funds taken anyhow..l. I operate a small construction business, and guarantee I’d be out on my ear if I were scumbag enough to adopt such neanderthal business practices. That money is mine, I never received a single coffee bean for it, but then, I can’t raise them long enough to plead my case. Starbucks is vastly superior anyhow, and for once Starbucks is the more affordable option. Sorry for taking you’re time, It just gets under my skin thinking I cannt at least get some of my money back.
