User story: Pepplays.com took money from me, here is my story

I tried to find some materials for my study, and happened to access a book collection in pepplays.com it required me to provide my credit card details, saying that it gives me free access for few days but id didn’t say it’s going to be automatically subscribing.

Without notification, my 74.29 AUD has gone out all of a sudden. More terribly, I thought I registered for it, but I can’t find my account and log on doesn’t work (it says log on detail error at every try). This means I couldn’t use that service at all.

But it took my money!

I feel really frustrated and mentally exhausted for that. So, everyone should be extra careful of scams that require your card details. You never provide yours if it’s unclear in terms of terms and everything..
